How this was built
The blueprint is the set of tested Arkansas K–12 Science Standards Performance Expectations for grades 3–5, verified against the Arkansas ATLAS science summative blueprint (October 2023). The blueprint’s three reporting categories — Physical Science, Life Science, and Earth & Space Science — total 42 tested PEs (15 in grade 3, 14 in grade 4, 13 in grade 5). Per the blueprint, engineering design (ETS) is not a separate reporting category: it is embedded in the tested PS/LS/ESS clusters, so it is shown for teaching reference but excluded from the 42-standard count. Coverage reflects how many gallery photographs are aligned to each standard — every published photo counted once. Counts recompute live from the gallery on load, and firm up after a standards-validation pass during the pilot’s setup phase.
